140 Doctors Sit for the Part One Selection Examination at Kordofan Center, and the Acting Minister of Health and Social Development Praises the Excellent Organization

Dr. Iman Malik, Acting Minister of Health and Social Development in North Kordofan State, praised the distinguished organizational arrangements provided by the Sudan Medical Specialization Board – Kordofan Branch, which contributed to the success of the Part One Selection Examination. She affirmed that Kordofan Center has continued to play a key role in ensuring the continuity of medical specialization examinations despite the prevailing circumstances and challenges.
This came during her inspection visit on Saturday morning, July 4, to follow up on the examination process at Kordofan Center, hosted at Sheikan College in El-Obeid. A total of 140 male and female doctors sat for the examination, representing various major and subspecialty medical fields.
The Minister confirmed that Kordofan Center has maintained the regular conduct of medical specialization examinations over the past three years, which has strengthened its position as a major accredited center of the Sudan Medical Specialization Board, despite the challenges faced by the country. She also noted that the center has a strong capacity to accommodate doctors arriving from different states. She wished all candidates success and expressed hope that Sudan would enjoy security and stability.
For his part, Professor Abdelsalam Mohamed Ahmed Elfaki, Chairman of the Sudan Medical Specialization Board – Kordofan Branch, explained that the Part One Selection Examination covered nine specialties: Internal Medicine, Diagnostic Radiology, Community Medicine, Ophthalmology, Emergency Medicine, Dermatology and Venereology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Ear, Nose and Throat Surgery.
He added that the examinations were conducted in three sessions according to the approved technical and administrative arrangements. He confirmed that the examination process went smoothly and as planned, praising the great efforts that contributed to the success of the Part One Selection Examination in North Kordofan State.
